Microsoft Office 365 Activation/De-Activation

What Is It?

Microsoft Office 365 applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, installed on your device display an error when attempting to use the apps. When opening an app, it will say that Office is “Deactivated” and to “Try Another Account”. It may also say the license has “Expired” or has “View Only” access. Additionally, some advanced features such as Data Validation in Excel may not appear correctly or at all.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Students and Employees at Lipscomb University. The exception is Adjunct professors who do not have a device license.

Where Can I Get It?

Active, enrolled, current students and currently employed staff/faculty with the exception of adjunct faculty automatically have a device license to install and use Microsoft Office 365 applications.
