What Is It?
There are 2 Wifi networks here at Lipscomb: "LUBisonNet" and "Lipscomb Guest".
Lipscomb Guest is an open network, and requires a free registration through a browser to use.
LUBisonNet is our main Lipscomb WIFI that most of our university (employee/staff/faculty) resources should connect. It is a faster, more robust 'enterprise-level' network reserved for Lipscomb users. Printing on campus is reserved to this network.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
The Guest network may be used for guests to campus after registering to use it, as well as students and employees.
LUBisonNet is for Lipscomb students and employees only. You need a Lipscomb account to sign into this network. (When signing onto the network, just use your username - everything before the @ in your email).
Where Can I Get It?
It is available in every building and in many common areas.
How Do I Use It?
There are many different ways to connect to the WIFI depending on what device you are attempting to setup. Please see the different 'Related Articles' linked on this page to the right for more help.
Lipscomb Guest is the network to connect smart devices such as smart TVs, gaming consoles, streaming devices, Alexa and other devices.
LUBisonNet is preferred for employees and prioritizes Zoom and other academic programs.
