What Is It?
A 'Delegated Email' account is a way to grant access to another email account's inbox. Here at Lispcomb, this applies to our department email account such as "IT@lipscomb.edu". No one may log directly into a non-user account (IT@lipscomb.edu is not a person, so therefore it is not a user). These department accounts allow us to have easier communication by finding the proper department to email, so we allow 'delegated access' which allows your individual access to the account and we are better able to track and see who is using it.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
Lipscomb employees and some verified student workers are able to use a delegated account with permission from the department's manager/supervisor/dean.
